“Republic” Tub and Shower Stem Here’s a hard one to
find! Measures slightly over 5” overall, with the distinctive 8 point spline count. Fits many Republic in-wall valves made before the Briggs
buyout. Republic was one of the smaller plumbing companies working before the Depression, and we’ve not seen anything made by Republic after 1931 or so. 86-901 Republic Stem 39.00
“Standard” Tub and Shower stem This stem was the first
“Re-Nu” style barrel stem made by “Standard”. Used in the 1920’s, in standing waste and in-wall valve applications, this stem
measures 6” long overall, and the widest point of the stem is 1 1/2” wide. The barrel itself measures 1” in diameter. These reproductions
are American made, and use a o-ring at the bottom to help seal the barrel to the valve body. (the originals do not have this option as they were used before the
invention of o-rings.) 86-601 “Standard” stem 59.00
Yes, this looks very similar to the Standard stems available at most Hardware stores. It’s actually about 25% larger in
both width and length than the common stems.
“American Standard” Barrel only These barrels are used in many “Standard” faucets made from
the ‘30’s up to the ‘60’s. The actual stem lengths vary, but the barrel length and diameter remains the same. These measure 1
1/2” long and 7/8” diameter. These have been redesigned with an o-ring seal to help seal up the barrel to the valve body. This part has the seat of
the faucet built into the bottom of it, and the entire barrel must be replaced when the faucet starts to drip. “Standard” faucets that have metal
cross handles take the 15027 barrel, while the lever handles take one each of the 15028 and 15027 barrels. 23-15028

Note; this barrel does NOT replace the barrel on the above 86-601 stem.
“American Standard” Lavatory Escutcheon Used from the
‘30’s to the late ‘50’s, these escutcheons are exact duplicates of the original. Chrome plated Zinc, just like the factory version that
hasn’t been made for a couple of decades. 2 3/8” OD, 1 5/8” tall, threads onto the stem. Make that Standard faucet look new again. Sold by
each. 80-6002 “Standard” chrome lavy escutcheon 17.00
“American Standard” Tub-Shower Escutcheon Another hard-to find part, these
Chrome plated Zinc “Standard” shower escutcheons were used for 30 years or so and ended in early ‘60’s. OD measures 3” and it stands
1 7/16” tall. Over time, the original metal reacted with water and slowly corroded away. Before now, all one could do was replace the valve assembly,
and that usually meant a whole new enclosure. Not anymore! Sold Ea. 80-6003 “Standard”in wall shower escutcheon 16.00
“Standard” Metal Cross Handles Finally! Replace those
old, stripped American Standard metal cross handles with this reproduction. While not quite the quality of the originals, it sure beats dumping an antique sink
for lack of handles. chrome only, 3/8” Diam. 22 spline, sold in pairs. 80-0100 Am. Std. Handles. 35.00

“Standard” Deco Lever for Lavatory Faucets Save that antique
fixture! These 2 1/2” long handles are near exact copies of the original American Standard ones used in many lavatory applications. Made of Zinc,
3/8” diameter, 22 spline, sold in pairs. Chrome only! 80-0109 Standard deco handle 16.00
“Standard” Metal Lever This particular handle was used on
many different “Standard” brand faucets made from the ‘30’s to the mid ‘50’s. This is a near exact copy of those original
handles, down to the slot head retaining screw. Fits the 3/8” 22 spline American Standard stem. Made of Chrome plated zinc. 80-0108

“Sphinx” Tub Stem Sphinx valves were used in the 20’s, and are easily
identified by the oddly shaped ceramic cover that mounts over the valve body. These were a distinctive application that only Sphinx used. Also, the handles have a
floating nut on the spud that actually threads onto the stem. Finally, we’ve found a manufacturer here in the U.S. that is reproducing both the stem and the
diverter (Not pictured) 86-221 Sphinx Hot stem 29.00 86-222

“American Kitchen” Faucet Stems Also known as
“Youngstown Kitchen” or “Crosley” kitchen faucet, these are known by the stems entering the sides of the boxy-shaped chrome faucet. These
faucets came on either a 5’ or 6’ steel cabinet and countertop all set up, ready to go. All one had to do was slap the cabinet in, and hook the water
up. Stem measures 2 1/8” overall and is 3/4” wide. Other styles and lengths available in American Kitchen stems on a special order basis
