Antique Plumbing Price Guide.

Wanted. Alive and in Excellent Condition: Your old plumbing fixtures.

The most common question asked of us here at Bathroom Machineries is:
“Where do you get all this stuff?”

The answer to that is “From everywhere, and everybody who has fixtures to sell.”
The 2nd most common question is probably:
“What will you give me for my old fixture?”

The answer to that is a little more complicated.  Most items we acquire undergo EXTENSIVE inspection, cleaning, sanitizing, restoration, water testing and are fitted with new parts when needed. The labor and expertise involved usually accounts for 70-80% of the cost of a restored fixture. For a very basic price guide, figure that we’ll pay up to 20-30% of the retail prices shown on this website for a comparable fixture. Please keep in mind that we pay SALVAGE prices for fixtures, not retail, or even wholesale. The labor involved in restoring fixtures is so extensive we can’t do it any other way and remain profitable.
Please note that some fixtures are either so abundant or currently overstocked we are not interested in them. Be sure to review our “wanted list”.

The list below show approximate shipping costs to aid in determining if your item(s) can be profitably shipped:
Typical cost to ship a china toilet bowl, tank, or small sink via UPS: $50 to $65 plus packing.
Typical cost to ship a pallet via truck: $150 to $250.

Drop Off: Obviously, delivering the fixture to us yourself can save you having to pay the high cost of shipping. If you live in the Northern California or Western Nevada area, you may want to consider making a weekend visit! We do not always have staff on hand to unload heavy items, so please call before showing up unannounced on weekends or late in the afternoon. We reserve the right to decline to purchase any fixture for any reason.
